Vegetarian Spring Rolls
Vegetarian Spring Rolls
This week, September 24-28, in New Zealand we celebrated Chinese Language Week.  As part of this language week, we held morning tea with foods from China.  Our adult learners group decided to participate by making something for this morning tea.  So this week we made Vegetarian spring rolls.   We did cheat and bought the spring roll wrappers from an Asian food market, but please forgive us as we had time restraints.
If you have been reading our blog then you will know that we always adapt the recipe.  I was unable to source the mushrooms that were used in the original recipe, so  we just used what I could find at the supermarket.  Have fun making these and leave a comment down below if you try making them for yourselves.  We would love to hear about your experience.

Dear adult learners,
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your recipe. Its sounds very delicious and I will definitely try to make your vegetarian spring rolls. What was your favourite part when making these spring rolls?
From B9 students.
Dear adult learners,
ReplyDeleteIt is cool that you celebrated Chinese New year by making spring rolls. I like the way you cheated but that's okay we all cheat sometimes. How long did it take you to make the spring rolls?
From B9 Students
Dear adult learners,
ReplyDeleteI really loved the how you celebrated Chinese new year, it's also funny how you cheated. The photo really looks delicious. What was the recipe?
B9 students
In cooking cheating is called adapting the recipe. The recipe was linked in blue so that you too can try to make it.
DeleteDear adult learners,
ReplyDeleteI really loved your vegetarian spring rolls, I'm going to ask my parents to buy or cook
some for my siblings and I.
Did it taste good after you cooked them?
From B9 Students
Oh yeah, it was wonderful and I am not a vegetarian fan.
DeleteI hope your parents make it for you or you give it a try yourself.

Dear Adult learner's,
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your vegetarian spring rolls recipe with us. It looks very delicious I really want to taste it. What kind of roll did you use to make this?
From B9 students
Hi B9 Students we bought the spring roll pastry from a shop. It is very tricky making the pastry and easier to buy it.
