Apple and Pear Breton and Apple Crumble

We have an abundance of apples and pears.   I have been searching for recipes that can be used for the adult learner’s class in order for this fruit to be utilised and not wasted.
This week we used an Annabel Langbein Apple Breton Cake recipe and an Apple Crumble.
How delicious our kitchen smelled.   There are many many ideas for utilising apples and pears.  If you have a well-loved recipe that you would like to share with us we would love to hear from you.

Happy Cooking.

    1. Thank you B9 Students

You asked a good question I really enjoy making recipes that other people
enjoy eating. I have enjoyed learning new recipes from other cultures. One of the adults taught us how to make roti bread. That was exiting ,as a master roti maker was teaching us.

  3. We used apples and pears because they were in season and the combination was very tasty. One of our learners took all the peals home for the compost so nothing was wasted. I enjoyed the flavour.
